Emirates ID is an Android app developed by Emirates ID.

Emirates ID first became available on 21 Dec 2014. It is estimated that Emirates ID has been downloaded between 50000 and 100000 times from the Play Store.

Emirates ID 3.0.1 requires the following permissions:

Allows an app to access approximate location. Alternatively, you might want ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION.

Allows an app to access precise location. Alternatively, you might want ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
